I remember when hotmail used to have a 'block' feature, but they got rid of it 10 years ago. I guess they thought that their anti-spam set-up was good enough. Now they have a 'junk' folder which should work the same, but doesn't. I am forever being harrassed by Bebo because I signed up to it 3 years just to send an old friend on there a message and promptly deleted my account. I'm also being harrassed by this guy at uni who runs the campus restaurant, telling me of their great offers. I get 2 or 3 of these stupid notices a week, each from Bebo and this guy, and just wish that I could block them. But I can't. I may be able to remove myself from the mailing list of the campus restaurant, but I doubt I can do it with Bebo, since I've already deleted my account.

I think it's time to set up a new email address just for spam. I used to, and then it disappeared into the ether because I never opened it.
