First, it was the university in Spain that was holding me up. I finally got the official transcript from them a month ago, despite assurances that I would get it no later than September (despite finishing in June). Now my university has decided to play the "we have no idea what we're doing" game.
I went with my credit transfer application form to 4 course convenors here and got their approval. Sweet. Transfer complete. Kinda. I then submitted all of this to the good people at administration (the same good people that have been telling me that I'm ineligeble to graduate, and that as soon as I get the forms sorted I have to hand them in). So hand them I do.
I then get an email asking for my official transcript. At this point I mistake their meaning and wonder why they want such a thing when they can print it up themselves. I quickly ('quickly' being four days) realise that they might mean the transcript from Spain. So I hand that in with a coversheet. The good people at admin ask me to attach a post-it to the coversheet explaining what I'm handing in and who it's to be directed to. This would have been a very good idea, if I had not had it earlier that day and decided to put all of the information they are looking for on the friggin' coversheet. But maybe they have their own procedures, so I do as they ask.
I then get another email asking for my credit transfer application, and that I can do this by going to all of my convenors and getting them to sign off on the subjects that I did overseas. I can then submit all of this paperwork. If that paragraph seems familiar, it's because they asked for the same thing in paragraph two of this blog (in my time it was two weeks ago).
I have three weeks to get all of this sorted before I miss the deadline to graduate. The annoying thing is that I have sorted this all out before the deadline and have handed everything in, and they still can't figure out what's going on.

I'm convinced that universities just suck.
Me too.
