5 years ago today the Madrid bombings happened, mostly on my train line and between my station and the main one in Madrid that I use almost every day. And someone with a 4 digit number from a call center has tried calling me 3 times today. On 2 of those times I wasn't here to answer the phone, and on the final 1 . . . 5 years, 4 digit, 3 times, 2 of, 1 . . .
I don't know who it is or why they keep calling, but they've been doing it every couple of weeks for several months. Half the time I ignore it. The other half I answer and am greeted with nothing but silence and hang up. Today was the first time that someone actually spoke to me, but I hung up after hearing the unmistakeable sound of a call centre and "buenas tardes". Admittedly, I could have found out what the whole deal was and why they have to keep hasseling me, but I don't care. I think it's the phone company. Or, it's some random company that I don't want to talk to. So if it is the phone company I don't care either. I have a pre-paid card and if they are offering me a deal then they can suck it. If they cancel my card I can get another one.
Two of my roommates are in love with Twilight. They were watching interviews with Robert Pattinson today on youtube and asked for my help, since they were in English. My roommates speak English, but I've never heard them use it. Since there wasn't much volume on the videos they wanted me to repeat or clarify what he said, and I was once again surprised by the difficulties of language. Their understanding of a whole sentence was thrown because one of the words was 'test'. They heard it as 'text'. Since this word was the focal point of what was being said, spoken in a fast sentence, it made me feel a little better that I still don't understand a lot of Spanish.

I just finished the second book of twilight, and I'm already bored.
