Time to take a stand

Fucking phone company! For the last week I've been getting daily calls from a mysterious 4 digit number, 1485. Well, they had a hard on in getting to speak to me recently as they've now called me 3 times on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and 4 times today! I've ignored all of them, and finally googled it. Here's the answer that I got.

El 1485 es el numero de atención al cliente de movistar, para las llamadas hechas desde un movil no movistar.

So it's a bullshit call trying to get me to sign up to something else. Does this really need a total of 20 calls? Can't they take a fucking hint? Can't they let me sleep? I'm starting to wonder if ignoring them is going to work. But it's Friday, hopefully on Monday they will have moved on, but if not, I am blessed with speaking another language....English (and if I'm feeling more awake, Pikey). And maybe I'll drop all of the hard consonants as well, like "oh yeah tha'll e goo. an you ell me more abou i ?"

Fuckers.

I did not sleep well last night. At 7am my roomie (one of the world's heaviest sleepers) didn't wake up to turn his alarm off. The alarm is stupid, doesn't shut up, and beeps every second until you turn it off. Last month he apologised because it had been going for 4 hours. Thankfully I was at uni. But after 10 minutes I realise that enough is enough and I kick the wall. A resounding 'BOOM' and the alarm goes quiet. And then I get three back-to-back calls from 1485 and so I was woken up 4 times and had to try to get back to sleep 4 times. I wasn't that successful.

I say unplug your phone before bed. Or if it's a cellphone, turn it off.

When we lived in Madison, WI, we used to get calls from fax machines all the time. We didn't have caller ID, so we answered any time the phone rang. then the fax machine would squeal in our ears. Apparently our phone number used to be a common fax number. This was quite troublesome, and there was nothing we could do about it. Thankfully we only lived there 7 months.

Amazingly they called twice again and didn't bother speaking. After twenty seconds of silence I hung up.
