End of the Travels, part 1

Today marked a nostalgic day in the life of Intrepid Explorer Oisin, as I booked the last of my flights for this trip, including the final big one: back to Australia.

For those of you who are still lost and baffled by the travels I still have to go, there are many. On Wednesday Girl Argie and I fly off to Dublin for a week (probable day-trip to Belfast quite likely). I return to Madrid on the 3rd of June (my BIRTHDAY!) and on the 6th I depart Madrid for almost the last time, head down to the south of Spain for 10 days, and then it gets nuts again.

On the 15th I leave Córdoba, train it up to Madrid, sit an exam for my gothic literature subject, metro it across to the airport, catch a flight to London, and the next day Girl Argie and I will be in Poland, picked up by Magda, and things can ease down for a few days.

Then, Girl Arg and I split up. She heads off to Paris as she completes her round the world explorations and I go to Edinburgh (no festival, alas). Over the next few days I travel back down to London and fly off to Singapore, stay there for a couple of days, and finally end up in Brisbane.

Or put another way: I have 8 more flights, 11 more cities and 7 more countries between here and Australia. Don't tell Girl Arg that, because she hates when I go all statisticky on her.

But they're all booked! Yay! And they were all cheaper than I expected! Yay again!

But really all of this means that next month I will have a wild collection of me drinking coke in lots of cities. I wanted to be like Matt and dance around the world, but I'm not that clever. So it's photos of me with coke. Don't worry, a whole facebook album will be dedicated to this. I have a dozen or so pictures already from various places. I know, you're as excited as I am.

But you are, aren't you?

And every single one of those pictures will involve bugeyes, yes? I look forward to it. I'm slightly ashamed to say so.
