The price of travelling, and not just in dollars, euros or pounds.

Time to blog.

I had a good and productive day. I currently have the burning flairy drive for writing again, even though I've had it in some form since February. I haven't been able to do much lately because of travelling, a lot of travelling (guess who just discovered the italics key!), and the burning flairy flair does not go away.

Yesterday while in class I listed off all the creative works that are still a work in progress.

As a side note, Andrea has just come in and has noticed the state of my room. Being the creative person that I am, I am ridiculously lazy when it comes to cleaning up my crap. It'll probably never change. But my room is small and my things are many, so a mess is somewhat inevitable.

Back to the works in progress. Out of books, scripts and plays, guess how many I have that are incomplete (meaning anywhere from 1 paragraph written to 2nd draft written and still need to be polished (or in other words: not yet publishable)). Andrea guessed 25. I kinda wanted her to guess less, because I have 15.

But seriously people, 15? (There I go again!)

That includes 5 books that are completely written and in dire need of a polish, 3 books which are unfinished (2 of which are semi-abandoned), 2 more books which are have a very interesting premise that I really want to write now, 2 plays (1 close to finishing, 1 not) and 3 film scripts in varying stages of disarray (1 needs a final polish).

Yikes.

And still I'm getting more and more good ideas on an almost daily basis. My brain is going on overload. But I digress about today's productivity.

I had a good solid work day, though I still feel as if I could get 2 more hours before I'm finished (I can't, because I'm about to go to bed). I worked on writing one of the books, edited three chapters of another, and wrote a hefty amount of one of those plays. At this rate I probably won't pass any of my exams, but at least I'll be accomplished at writing!

My goal this year is to have stuff submitted to publishers / agents / anyone who has money who likes my stuff and will pay for it.

Ideas, ideas!

How do you come up with so many ideas... I find it difficult to have an idea then follow it through. On second thinkings, they turn out to be crap.

Also I don't seem to know how to write anything anymore. Everything I write turns out to be cliched rubbish. At least I think so.

It's annoying!
