A White Rabbit once said....

“Firefox is not responding. What would you like to do? Try again or close?”
“Close.”
“Please wait, Windows is trying to find a solution to the problem.”
“No, I don’t want a solution to the problem, I want you to do what I told you to do and close.”
“Please wait.”
“Yeah? Watch this. Unplug the battery, unplug the power. See? I found my own solution, you stupidmotherfuckingpieceofasswipe!!!”

Heehee.

Anyway, the surprising inevitable happened (I wonder, if it is inevitable, can you still be surprised by it? If you see a tree fall in the forest, will anyone care?). Last night I wasn’t tired. I am assured that it did not have anything to do with coffee, but as 8am ticked on closer and the hours until then went from 6 to 5, I knew that Monday morning would suck the big one. I staggered out of bed and decided that I had to go to class one way or the other, but I made a deal with myself – go to the first and decide then if I’d stay for the rest . . . it was a good idea. After having to buy a new monthly travel pass (fuck those are expensive), I sat in a 90 minute class where everything went in one ear and out the other, and I doodled and scribbled notes as something about syntaxis was mentioned. At no point in that class did I believe that I’d make it through another one, I was literally asleep with my eyes open.

So I went home! Yay! I went and ate lunch and discovered that I had a letter from Australia calling me for jury duty! Yay! Actually that last bit wasn’t true, but I did have a letter, so the moral of the story still stays the same. I went to bed and crashed out for 4 hours.

So here’s the problem: is waking up at 5pm a bad thing if I expect to be able to sleep much tonight so that I don’t have the same shitty-experience tomorrow? Probably.

Le sigh.
