16 hours.

I slept from midnight last night until 4pm today. I couldn't believe it. In all fairness, I didn't sleep at all the night before on the plane, and for a week before that I had to sleep in dorms, and for 3.5 months before that I slept with someone next to me, so this is the first time since the middle of March that I've slept on my own. I saw the time and thought that I hadn't changed it over from England, which is silly, but I was trying to justify having slept for so long. Andrea thinks that it's jetlag, but it's not. I wasn't jetlagged in Singapore, I just hadn't slept for a while and was making up for it.

It's also strange that the sun was down at 5pm and pitch black by 6. I also went for a walk around the block and instantly started speaking Spanish to myself, something of a habit since last year I was doing the same thing and I guess that habit didn't go away. Curious.

I have about a month of quiet time, which I'll use for editing and whatever needs to be done. So let's hope that I'm as productive as I want to be.
