This might make Amanda cry, but I went to the library today and found that the fiction section is pathetic. It was four rows of shelves and did not have any of the books on my to-read list, such as: Farenheit 451, Frankenstein, 1984. That deflated me. But I have a pile of books at home that should keep me busy until the end of the year, if I ever get around to them.
To make up for the shortcomings of the library, I was able to get one of those Italian espresso maker pots and some espresso, so now I have an ample amount of genuine coffee here, and none of the instant crap that my folks have in the cupboards.
So now that I’ve settled down and been here for a few days, what’s it like? Well, the internet is woefully slow. I’ve also been a little lazy with editing and other projects (non important things come up, but hopefully I’ll be up to some good within an hour), but I’m starting to get the idea that I’m trapped here again. It’s neither a good nor a bad feeling, just that there is no public transport where I live (and is a 10 minute drive to get to a bus, and the bus routes here pretty much suck) and my car was traded in a year ago, so there are two cars here between three people, but my dad takes his when he’s gone to work, so that really leaves two independent people with one car. Uni should be interesting.

Welcome back!
It's been a long time - I look forward to hearing about some of your experiences.
You should come along to impro! (Prognosis: Death! at the Brisbane Arts Theatre starting tomorrow, Thursday 2 July).
But you knew I would say that. ;)
Wow, either your library sucks, or some other person interested in classics got there first. Though, 4 shelves makes me think it sucks. I'm sorry.
