I read this and laughed:
3 children of russian immigrants to the u.s decided to have fun at school. They got 3 piglets from the farm painted the #1 on one, the #2 on another and #4 on the last one, and freed them at school. Apart from causing total hysteria and havoc, the police and fire fighters spent 1 week searching for piglet #3!! After futile efforts the piglet was announced “missing”!!
In the good news of today (and more important than Obama having 10 parties tonight) is that I have finished my first semester of uni in Spain. I know that yesterday I commented that I still have a week to go. Surprisingly I only found out that today was the last day of the semester.....today, and after 2 of my 3 classes. That basically sums up the level of my knowing in this place. The calander still says that I have another week, but then again the med students started a whole month before we did, so maybe it applies to them. So: no more of that fucking Italian class.
I also had some other good news: the exam for one of my classes is optional. I can either write a script or do the exam, so I think the script is preferable. I found that out today as well. The problem is that Camille now thinks that I'm stupid (in a loveable way, I hope), because she was the one who told me both of these points (and now has to remind me when public holidays are). But this all boils down to: 'Why Oisin does not like bars'. Interesting, no? Going from uni to bars. Ah, now you've found the connection :)
Why Oisin does not like bars: you can't hear what's going on.
So naturally you end up shouting at each other, you get bored, can't hear, can't understand, and some of my classes are like that. Audible information must enter these ears of mine for it to be of any use. I also haven't learnt a fucking thing in the 80 or so lectures that I've been too here.
But I'm not complaining now. That'll probably come when I get the results for my exams later on. I was thinking about that today, wondering how many I can fail here and still managed to graduate at the end of the year.

One semester to go then?
In Spain yes, and then one more in Australia.
