Party Party Party

It's a busy time these days, although in retrospect it seems fairly normal. Today was Krista's last day in Madrid and we all met for lunch and to send her off to the Netherlands, but also with the possibility of meeting up in Portugal some time this year.

On Monday the twins from Italy have their birthday shindig, which is problematic because the following day I have an Italian exam that I'm quitely confident on bombing out on, but will likely go to the party anyway and try to practice with an actual Italian.

Next Saturday Magda arrives, and that night is Miriam's party, in celebration of the end of exams (her exams, not ours), so that's something to look forward to as well. Miriam is soon off to Australia and then back to Italy, but she lives in Torin and has insisted that I visit while in Italy. Most of the Italians have insisted that, but Miriam rocks, so we should make a special trip out.

While out today I was able to pick up some condensed milk and coconut, which are 2/3rds of the makings of truffles, which I haven't had since my birthday. It's not easy finding these things in the local shops, but was surprisingly easy to find in El Corte Inglés. Perhaps it's designed with the English sense of direction.

I had my first three-way convo on msn last night, which was a lot of fun. Jules and Andrea were the other two parties, one in Australia, the other in Argentina, so we were battling the time zones and all was silly.

it´s a good thing you wrote the words ´msn convo´in that sentence, otherwise many questions would need to be answered.....
